Ingredients
    1 kg of cucumbers
  • 1 l of water
  • 1 tbsp of salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 currant leaves
  • 2 horseradish leaves
  • 1 bunch dill (and 1-2 dill umbrellas)
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 6 black pepper peas
Instructions
  1. Preparation
  2. Cucumbers will be salted for only 24 hours, so they should be small, young, with thin skin.
  3. Wash the vegetables well and soak them in cool water for 2-3 hours. After that, cut off the tops and, if desired, cut the cucumbers into four pieces.
  4. Prepare the brine: boil water with sugar and salt. Cool. At the bottom of a three-liter pot put washed currant and horseradish leaves, dill, peeled garlic cloves. Lay the cucumbers on top tightly.
  5. Fill with brine, add bay leaf and peppercorns. Cover with an upturned plate and put something heavy on it. Put it in the refrigerator - you can taste it in a day.
  6. Your traditional Malosolnye Ogurtsy is ready. Приятного аппетита!
