Ingredients
  • 500 ml milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • 2 bags vanilla sugar
  • 1 lemon zest
  • rose petal liqueur
  • 200 g sugar (for caramel)
Instructions
  1. Mix the sugar and vanilla sugar with the milk, bring to the boil and remove from the heat to cool.
  2. Beat the eggs and mix them with the cooled milk, grate the lemon zest and add a few drops of rose liqueur.
  3. Melt the sugar (200 grams) until it caramelises (be careful not to burn it).
  4. Carefully spread it over the sides of the pan in which the rozata is baked and let it cool.
  5. Pour the mixture into the pan with the caramel, and place the same pan in a larger pan with water, i.e. a water bath.
  6. Place the rozata in the preheated oven for 45 minutes at 150 degrees.
  7. Separate the well-cooled rozata from the side of the pan in which it was baked, place a plate on the pan, press and turn it over.
  8. Finally, drizzle with a few more drops of liqueur.
  9. Your traditional Rozata is ready. Dobar Tek!
